Education: University of Panama (Bachelor in Law and Political Sciences, 1989; Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Universidad Externado de Colombia, Bogotá, Colombia (Specialist in Public Law, 1995). 

Experience
Admitted to the Panama Bar in 1989.

Legal Counsel, Ministry of the Presidency (1990-1993); Legal Counsel at Panama’s Embassy in Colombia (1993-1995); Justice at the Third Superior Court of Justice of the First Judicial District of Panama (1997-1999) and President thereof (1999): Director of the newspaper La Prensa, 2009-2010.

Panama Bar Association (President of the Intellectual Property Law Committee, 1997-1999 and of the Antitrust Law Committee, 1999-2001; Association of Constitutional Law; ABA – Section of Antitrust Law and Litigation.
