Public Contracting & Privatization

Our team of attorneys specialized in the field of Public Procurement, Government Projects and Privatizations, has a strong work history, having participated in many significant transactions across a broad spectrum of industries, including energy, infrastructure projects, oil, planning, property, tourism and transportation.

Our clients include international banks, financial institutions, multinational corporations and public sector entities. Our strength is based on our long history of active participation in the previous consultation stages for different governmental agencies, as well as in the structuring of public and private financing. In addition, our attorneys are actively involved in the preparation and discussion of proposed legislation related to public administration.

ICAZA, GONZALEZ-RUIZ & ALEMAN has represented both public sector authorities and private sector entities, such as developers, investors, contractors and concessionaires. This allows us to be aware of the different perspectives and expectations of each of the parties involved in any type of contractor selection process, public contracts, concessions and privatization contracts.

Our commitment begins with the formation of the legal structure for the public process, advising on regulations, taxation, negotiation strategies and even the filing of actions and/or remedies in the administrative framework. Further, our specialists in capital markets represent an added value to our experience.
